Initiative Indonesia - Indonesia’s Financial Sector: Impacting Reform Financial Services and Information Technology Mission
Mar 13, 2023

Dear AmCham & Initiative Members,

Please mark your calendars for the first AmCham Indonesia-U.S. Chamber of Commerce business mission of 2023, Indonesia’s Financial Sector: Impact of Reform, to be held March 13-14 in Jakarta.

Indonesia’s omnibus Financial Sector Development and Strengthening Reform Bill became law in December 2022, following input from regulators, our companies and other. This is your chance to find out how this important legislation could change the way you do business. Following the omnibus Job Creation Law and Tax Harmonization Law, the new measure amends 17 financial sector regulations and will serve as the primary legal umbrella overseeing this dynamic and evolving sector, which includes banks, insurance companies, fintech companies, payments firms and many others.

The sector is dynamic and growing and we need to engage now to help shape the implementing regulations from the latest omnibus law. That is the reason for this mission.

Join us to discuss all this with key Indonesian and U.S. government officials!
