Event
Initiative Indonesia - Healthcare Mission
Aug 10, 2022

Dear AmCham & Initiative Members,

Despite a recent spike in cases, improvements in the national response have already led to the pandemic effectively being treated as chronic and endemic in Indonesia. As we reflect on our experience of the pandemic, it is clear that Covid-19 put an enormous strain on Indonesia’s healthcare system and preparedness. With the Indonesian government identifying improved health care performance as a priority for investment, we will look at the current business climate for foreign health care providers, services, medicines and devices in Indonesia, along with other issues.

Join us for our second Mission in 2022 under Initiative Indonesia, Healthcare Reboot: Post-Pandemic Strategies and Investment Opportunities, to discuss ways the private sector can support government healthcare priorities. We will look at private investment, halal, regulatory changes and other issues including investment in Special Economic Zones with senior ministers and other officials. With this event, we aim to connect prominent government stakeholders, health experts, and leading businesses to discuss how we can work together to provide better healthcare access to patients.
