(IN-PERSON) Initiative Indonesia 2025 ICT Mission - Navigating the Digital Frontier: Accelerating Indonesia’s Tech Transformation
Aug 26, 2025 / 08:00 - 17:00

Dear Initiative Indonesia and AmCham Members,

The US Chamber of Commerce and AmCham Indonesia will host an in-person ICT mission, “Navigating the Digital Frontier: Accelerating Indonesia’s Tech Transformation,” on Aug 26-27, in Jakarta. The mission will serve as a platform for meaningful discussions on key technology issues and foster engagement between government officials, policy experts, and U.S. and international industry leaders.

Indonesia’s digital economy is projected to grow to USD 360 billion by 2030[1]. To attain that forecast, reforming and modernizing regulatory frameworks in the areas of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data governance, and digital trade is inevitable to drive innovation and investment. It is essential that Indonesia build strong partnerships with local and international private sector stakeholders to realize this potential. U.S. tech companies that bring cutting-edge technologies, global expertise, and long-term commitment will play a critical role in creating a trusted, resilient, and inclusive digital ecosystem in Indonesia.

We invite you to participate in focused, small-group dialogues exploring current developments and priorities in Indonesia’s digital transformation. These sessions will provide an opportunity to engage directly with key policymakers and experts on regulatory trends, strategic initiatives, and potential areas for public-private collaboration.
