About committee

Wednesday, January 23, 2019

The Taxation Committee keeps abreast of proposed and actual changes in Indonesian tax legislation and regulations. The committee is charged with reporting to the Board of Governors on tax-related developments and their likely implication for various sectors. Areas of major concern to foreign investors and reforms which would improve the tax attractiveness of Indonesia are identified for possible communication by AmCham Indonesia to government officials. The committee holds information-sharing meetings, occasionally with guest speakers, and conducts surveys of the AmCham Indonesia membership on an ad-hoc basis to collect hard data on the impact of tax policy on foreign investment decisions.
