AmCham Indonesia held a virtual courtesy meeting on August 11 with Prof. Sukadiono, Deputy for Health Quality Improvement at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Cultural Affairs (Kemenko PMK), and Jelsi Natalia Marampa, Assistant Deputy for Nutrition Improvement and Stunting Prevention, to discuss ongoing development related to Sugar, Salt, and Fat (GGL) thresholds and nutrition-labelling policies.
The meeting was led by Donna Priadi, Managing Director of AmCham Indonesia, and Andreas Adianto of Coca-Cola Indonesia, who leads AmCham Indonesia’s GGL Working Group, together with representatives from AmCham member companies.
The discussion provided an opportunity for members to exchange perspectives with Kemenko PMK on the development of the policy framework and the importance of continued government-industry engagement as the process moves forward.
AmCham Indonesia appreciates Kemenko PMK’s openness to dialogue and looks forward to continued collaboration with government stakeholders and members in supporting evidence-based policymaking
