Indonesia's New Investment List - What Businesses Should Know and Prepare For
Feb 05, 2021 / 09:30 - 11:00

Dear AmCham Members and Friends,

We hope that you are all well and in good health, and would like to inform you of an upcoming virtual event.

On Feb 5, AmCham Indonesia will host a virtual webinar on “Indonesia’s New Investment List – What Businesses Should Know and Prepare For” in collaboration with SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants. Our experienced guest speakers, Stephen Igor Warokka, Partner, and Greita Anggraeni, Associate Lawyer, from SSEK Indonesian Legal Consultants, will present valuable insights on the draft and will also be available for a Q&A session toward the end of the webinar. Biogs of the speakers are contained in the attachment. The session will be moderated by Gusti Kahari, AmCham Indonesia’s Director of Government Relations.

Investment in Indonesia is subject to the current Negative Investment List, and the new draft contains various changes, many of which detail the business sectors which will be open to foreign investment. During the webinar, we hope to discuss how the draft differs from the current list and provide insightful details on the business lines that are expected to be open to foreign investment.

We hope you will be able to join us for this webinar as it will be a crucial discussion in understanding how your business may be impacted or benefit from the new list. We look forward to (virtually) seeing you there!
