We cordially invite you to attend the Intellectual Property & Trade and Logistics Joint Committee Meeting “Combatting Counterfeit: Strengthening Enforcement and Public-Private Collaboration” Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 10:00 – 12:00 WIB (GMT 7).

This meeting aims to bring together government and industry stakeholders to discuss practical challenges and opportunities in strengthening intellectual property enforcement against counterfeit goods in Indonesia. The discussion will feature speakers from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DGIP), the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE), and Procter & Gamble (P&G) Indonesia, who will share perspectives on current enforcement efforts, customs recordation procedures, practical challenges faced by rights holders, and opportunities to strengthen public-private collaboration in combatting counterfeit goods. The session will be moderated by Devi Kusumaningtyas, Nike’s Government and Public Affairs Director for Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and South Asia.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity to learn more about DGIP's enforcement programs and reporting mechanisms, DGCE’s role in border enforcement and recordation, and industry experiences in protecting intellectual property rights. Participants will also exchange views on practical challenges and identify initiatives to strengthen coordination between government agencies and the private sector.

We also welcome inputs from members on enforcement challenges and emerging issues related to intellectual property protection and counterfeit goods.

Due to limited space, participation is limited to one representative per company, on a first-come, first-served basis.
