U.S. Business Visa Program
(Courtesy of the U.S. Embassy Jakarta)The Business Visa Program (BVP) supports bilateral trade between the United States and the Republic of Indonesia by providing corporate staff with enhanced flexibility for the filing of their visa applications and shorter waiting periods at the Embassy for their interviews. Employees of registered companies are interviewed on the first and third Wednesday mornings of each month without having to make an appointment. Additionally, registered companies operating in Indonesia as an international office of the U.S. parent company may authorize their clients to use the BVP if traveling to the U.S. for business related to the sponsoring company. The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy Jakarta is closed to the general public on the first and third Wednesday of each month and focuses solely on Business Visa Program applicants.
