Every month AmCham Indonesia hosts a business networking evening. The goal is simple. For members to have fun and expand their networks in a casual way, meet fellow industry professionals, ask questions, build rapport and trust, and hopefully develop some meaningful relationships in the process.

AmCham’s final such evening of 2018 was in cooperation with the Indonesia Australia Business Chamber (IABC) and Indonesia Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC). Members were invited to bring their colleagues and business associates to this end of year international networking event. It rocked.

On December 7, from 6:30 to 9:00 pm, a selection of the finest international cuisine was provided by sponsors at Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City, in the Ruby & Sapphire Ballroom.

Members and guests enjoyed scrumptious appetizers along with free flow soft drinks, wine and beer as they were happily engaged in conversation. IABC Treasurer Peter Fanning took the stage and called on representatives from each chamber to a toast as a symbol of the good relationships between the three. The representatives were ICCC Chair Vivian Kusumowardhani; IABC’s new President TM Hamzah Thayeb; and Louise McKenzie, President Director of ExxonMobil Indonesia and AmCham Indonesia Governor.

We are grateful to our generous venue host Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City and benevolent sponsor Colliers International Indonesia for tremendous door prizes. Congratulations to all the winners, most of whom enjoyed their first experience of success in the lucky draw.

We also wish to thank Elder for delicious Australian beef, soft drinks by Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia and beer from Heineken.

Last but not least, thank you to all guests and sponsors for your continuous support, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2019!
