Amcham Indonesia

Meetings

December 07, 2011

The AmCham Indonesia Corporate Citizenship Committee, in partnership with EuroCham and the Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), provided an update on the latest best practices and trends in CSR implementation and communication during a morning breakfast session on Wednesday 7 December 2011.

Leading frameworks such as the OECD Guidelines from Multinational Enterprises (OECD), UN Global Compact (UNGC) and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) continue to grow in acceptance and use as effective principles, standards and guidelines for thousands of companies and organizations, both large and small, to improve operational performance and business value.

The gathering also served to encourage a series of similar events amongst fellow chambers and the speaker organizations in 2012 as we strive to achieve a broader range of participation and understanding that conveys the value proposition in going beyond compliance and to feature solid business cases that contribute to more responsible and profitable performance.

The speaker presentations have kindly been made available for your reference.
