Corporate Citizenship Committee

One of the Corporate Citizenship Committee's key function is to maintain its traditional and critical assistance role during times of emergency through provision of charity donations (monetary; in-kind). The Committee also implements a more sustainable, participatory and institutional approach where corporations, both U.S. and Indonesian, are encouraged to become increasingly engaged with the flow and utilization of their funds. Of necessity, this approach will require a longer-term commitment on the part of participating companies. Although Committee membership is open to all, current Committee members consist of, among others, senior executives from international development consulting firms, the energy sector, shipping and moving companies as well as senior representatives from Jakarta-based NGOs and USAID.
The Corporate Citizenship Committee also leads AmCham Indonesia's Disaster Response Plan.
