Committees

AmCham Committees serve three functions:

1. to serve the membership via information and issues exchanges.
2. to lobby appropriate entities concerning the issues facing the Committee.
3. to brief the Board of Governors.

Committees meet once a quarter in events open to the membership. All members are invited to all Committee meetings via e-mail, facsimile or written letter.

Committee Chairs are appointed by the President. Chairs can select Vice Chairs, who must be approved by the President.
